From the e-mail file -- a comment, dated March 8, on a news item related to the Obama campaign:
The Obama advisor who called Hillary a "monster" was, of course, relieved of duty. Too bad, since she's the only honest person Obama had on his team. But on the way out, she noted that "Obama may not be able to withdraw all U.S. combat troops from Iraq within a year as he has promised on the campaign trail." So the fix is in, and now we can relax, since there is no longer any significant difference between Billary and Bama.
Of course, a president could withdraw all combat troops from Iraq in less time than it took to put them in. The logistics are not trivial but, ultimately, all you have to do is start loading them on transports. As Ron Paul says, "They marched in, they can march out." So this "may not be able to" stuff is pure B.S.
BTW, as the notion of a Hillary/Obama ticket becomes a subject of public speculation, one has only to reflect that during the Clinton I administration, she and Bill were self-identified as "co-presidents". No reason to think this will change. So in a Clinton II administration, Hill and Bill will be co-presidents and Obama will be serving mint juleps in the Rose Garden.
